Senior Business Officer

 
  • The Business Officer reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for Community Futures St Paul - Smoky Lake Region’s loan/equity portfolios and for corporate response to client requests for financial and/or technical assistance. The Senior Business Officer also assists the Community Development Coordinators as required.

Community Economic Development Coordinator
  • The Community Economic Development Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager and the primary responsibility is for Community Development within the region. The Coordinator will work with the communities, agencies, and individuals throughout the region in developing and maintaining a dynamic strategic plan. Liaison with all levels of government departments which deal with Community Development to ensure the Corporation is fully up to date with the resources, initiatives and programs available. The Coordinator’s secondary responsibility is to work with a variety of youth programs in the region.
  • Has Obtained her Land Sciences Diploma from Olds College
  • Is on target to be completed her Economic Development Designation from the University of Waterloo in 2011
  • Is a member of the Economic Developers of Alberta
  • Is an appointed Commissioner of Oaths
  • Is currently taking Rural Diversification Training through the Community Futures Alberta Network

  • The Receptionist reports directly to the General Manager. This position answers phone calls and directs them to the appropriate personnel. There are some filing and regular office duties.
